For many years now one of the most consistent directives I have received from the Holy Spirit is to Rejoice Always, regardless of my circumstances. There have been good times when I truly understood the command and there have often been very bad times where I found being in a state of rejoicing quite difficult. But I have learned as I have grown in my relationship with the Lord, that having a joyful attitude at all times and during every life experience is one of God's secret weapons to living a life of peace, consistent faith and unwavering assurance, that will all lead to a life of true victory over the enemy. This piece, Rejoice Always, is a message the Lord gave me right around the beginning of the pandemic, that speaks of just that, Rejoicing Always.

We all have dreams, things we aspire to accomplish in our lives. When I was a child, I dreamed of being a recording artist/musician. When I finally learned the lesson of trusting God for the fulfillment of my dreams, I was blessed with the opportunity to experience every last one of my childhood dreams. What I also learned, as I grew in my relationship with God, was that the closer and more consistently I walked through my life delighting myself in Him, the Lord began to reveal to me other dreams and desires that a He had placed deep into my heart that I wasn't even aware of. Today's message not only speaks of the importance of pursuing our dreams and God given purposes, but also how important it is to live our lives in partnership with the Lord that we might know clearly the God given Purpose and Plan He has Destined for each our lives.

I titled this message "To Deny Myself" because one of the greatest lessons we can learn as the Children of God, is the blessing and divine reward that comes when we surrender the reigns of our lives over to our Creator, sacrificing and denying our own self will and desires and surrendering the whole of our lives to God's will and His will alone. I pray as we listen to this message that we each will be more encouraged to daily present our bodies as a living sacrifice unto God, not allowing ourselves to be conformed by the way the world lives and approaches life, but being daily transformed as we submit our lives to the leading a direction of God's Word.

"The Sound Of An Abundance Of Rain" came to me while facing a very difficult time of scarcity and hardship. I was suffering a drought in my life that I had only read about in times past. Through out my life I have learned that we have to look beyond the image or circumstances that surround us and are required to live by faith in order to reach our promise. My desire is that from these writings you will be encouraged in any difficult time you may be facing and inspired to have hope in knowing that in any lifeless season in your life, with faith there will always come an "Abundance Of Rain."

Some months ago right at the height of the pandemic outbreak the Lord spoke to me a message of hope to encourage us when facing difficult times. It's entitled "From Death To Life." We often face challenging times that are like a death experience of sorts, whether it be a loose of a job, the failing of a marriage, or a severe sickness or infirmity. The beauty of being a Child of God is that no matter how dark the hour, we serve a God that can resurrect every set back to newness of life, a newness of Life that will be more glorious than what we could ever imagined, hope for or dream. So I pray this message encourages each of us to find it all Joy when faced with troubled times and seasons of suffering.
